Welcome to MagIC’2017!

Workshop MagIC2017 – Magnetism, Interactions and Complexity:
a multifunctional aspects of spin wave dynamics will be held at the Trzebaw (near Poznan, Poland), in Hotel Delicjusz on July 2-7, 2017.

To increase the standard and accommodation conditions during the Workshop we decide to change the place of the Workshop from Biedrusko to Trzebaw near Poznan. We apologies for the change and hope you will enjoy stay in Trzebaw

This is satellite Workshop to the The European Conference PHYSICS OF MAGNETISM 2017 (PM’17) (http://www.ifmpan.poznan.pl/pm17/) which will be held on June 26-30 in Poznan, Poland.

Topics for the workshop include both fundamental and applied aspects of magnonics, interaction between spin waves and other types of waves with emphasis on the structural complexity.

  • magnetization dynamics,
  • magnonics, magnon-spintronics,
  • spin-wave excitation and amplification,
  • materials for magnonics,
  • theory of spin waves and computational methods,
  • measurements methods in magnonics,
  • spin and acoustic wave interactions,
  • spin and electromagnetic wave interactions,
  • excitations in magnetic 'textures' such as Skyrmion lattices,
  • spin-wave logic,
  • artificial crystals for spin-waves and magnonic applications: magnonic crystals, quasicrystals, fractal structures,
  • other related spin wave phenomena.

Trzebaw is located 20 km north from Poznan.

The Conference is partly supported by the European Union Horyzont2020 program. MagIC project (call: H2020-MSCA-RISE-2014, project number: 644348 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions - Research and Innovation Staff Exchange (MSCA-RISE)).

Important dates

Dear Colleagues, We had to change the place of the workshop “MagIC’2017 – Magnetism, Interactions and Complexity: a multifunctional aspects of spin wave dynamics” a satellite event to The European Conference PHYSICS OF MAGNETISM 2017 to ‘Delicjusz’ Hotel in Trzebaw near Poznan.

The dates of the workshop remain the same, from 2nd to 7th of July, 2017. In this new place there is more space for our meeting and it is more convenient, being still close to Poznan. We decide to extend the deadline for the registration and the abstract submission to April 23, 2017. We hope this extra week will be useful for you. We would be grateful if you could share the attached flyer with any and all who may be interested in participating in the Workshop.
Please address any queries about abstract submissions to this email address.
Please contact the organizers in advance if the invitation letter for the visa application is required.
We look forward to welcoming you to Poznan in July!
With best wishes,
